Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People- Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free (another review for attractive people)

Strong Badia the Free is the second episode in the five episode “Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People” video game based on the characters of Homestarrunner.com, and after playing through Strong Badia the Free, I find it to be even more fun (and funnier) than its predecessor, Homestar Ruiner.

Strong Badia the Free begins when the King of Town goes mad with power and institutes a new email tax, and Strong Bad, being the email checkingest guy in the land, is put under house arrest. After Strong Bad escapes his imprisonment, he decides to lead a revolution against the King of Town (whom he now refers to simply as the Of Town). So Strong Bad sets out to recruit others to his cause. Its another comical, nonsensicle plot that fits right into the Homestar Runner universe.

Gameplay wise not much has changed. Its still a  point-and-click adventure game thats a bit short and easy but still manages to be very fun and entertaining. The problems with the graphics are still there (although I don’t think I noticed them as much as I did in the previous game), but its not enough to dampen the Strong Badian experience.

So once again I find SBCG4AP to be a very fun game, and the second episode is even better than the first, although once again I recommend that you watch some of the Homestar Runner cartoons before you play the game if you are not familiar with the Homestar Runner universe. I have high hopes for Baddest of the Bands (the third episode) and hope that Senor Cardgage makes an appearance soon.
