Today is July of the 14th persuasion. Which means that August 14th is a mere month away. Which in turn means that the release of the latest animated film from Hayao Miyazaki, Ponyo, is also a mere month away!

Yes there is only one month left to go before Ponyo’s release! It seems like I have been waiting for this movie for forever, and indeed I have been waiting for a few years. But now there’s only one month to go before Ponyo!

I must say I am happy to see it getting a better promotional campaign then the previous Miyazaki films, and I myself seem to have become something of an unofficial spokesperson for Ponyo. So let’s hope that Dinsey as well as the devoted, shameless promoting fans such as myself help Ponyo get the audience it deserves!

Miyazaki’s films have always had a good, strong following in the west, but they never really get as large of an audience as they deserve. Let us hope that Ponyo is the one to bring a bigger audience.

So be sure to see Ponyo when it’s released on August 14th! Why not tell your friends to see it?! Why not see it multiple times?!
