As you probably already know, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were re-released in theaters today. Disney and Pixar have re-released these two classic films for two primary reasons: The first is to build up to the release of Toy Story 3 next June by giving those who love the series another chance to see them in theaters. The other reason is to give younger audiences a chance to see them on the big screen.
I am writing this because I urge people to go and see the Toy Story films in theaters. I know that with movies as groundbreaking and beloved as Toy Story that nearly everyone has already seen them in one form or another. But when it comes to movies as great and (quite frankly) perfect as the Toy Story films, I believe everyone should want to rush to see them on the big screen, even if they’ve seen them a hundred times before.
If it were up to me, movies of such quality as Toy Story would probably never leave theaters, or at least be re-released annually. I believe every truly great film deserves to be seen on the big screen as many times as possible, and a re-release of movies so great as these should be a cause for celebration.
And indeed when it comes to quality film making, the Toy Stories are amongst the films that immediately come to mind. From the intelligence of the script to the ever endearing, revolutionary animation, Toy Story exudes quality. The Toy Story films are a true testament to the art of film and the art of animation.
Both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 have been re-released as a double feature in “Disney Digital 3D” to give people a fresh viewing experience to the films. As if animated classics of this caliber actually need attachment like 3D to help sell it.
Once again, I implore you to see the Toy Story double feature. It is only in theaters for 2 weeks! So don’t miss your chance to see the Toy Stories again on the big screen. Whether it’s for the first time or the thousandth time.

Cool they’re doing that at the USA. Unfortunately, they’re not doing that in Mexico.

well, the toy story double feature if just probably a way to warm up the old Toy Story frenzy and lead the “road of excitement” to Toy Story 3 that’s coming out NEXT YEAR.
wait, did that even make sense?

To be honest Scott, I have watched both Toy Story movies for the first time this week and I seriously love them!
I’m 17 and yet I’ve never seen the Toy Story films. That must be sad, I know. I hope Toy Story 3 will be as great as these two films. I think that song “You’ve Got a Friend In Me” is like the theme song to the Toy Story series. It’s quite perfect too.
