*The sequel to Arkham Asylum*

Arkham Asylum 2: The Squeakquel.

The as-of-yet unnamed sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum is already under way! Arkham Asylum was a great game (which I still need to review…expect that soon) and the sequel looks to make everything that was great about the first game bigger and better!

Of course, The Joker is up to his usual no-goodery, only this time, he and the other Arkham escapees are running amok in Gotham City.

If the three random, alternate after-credits sequences are any hint, Killer Croc, Bane and The Scarecrow will be making their returns as well (and since the Scarecrow moments were the best part of the first Arkham Asylum, I am anxious to see what else they can do with him). And I’m sure some of Batman’s nemeses who missed out on the caped crusader’s last outing will be showing up. Two-Face is due for an appearance.

Yet again, the exact release of this game is unknown, but it is being hyped as a 2010 title, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Batman will be battling the villains of Gotham City later this year.
