You probably recall I wrote a very recent blog about all of the great animated films coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this March (you can read it here), well, add another film to that lineup, as Disney’s The Princess and the Frog will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 16th!

Yes, Disney’s triumphant return to hand-drawn animation makes its way to DVD and Blu-Ray real soon. The Princess and the Frog is the latest great animated film to be announced for a March release.

As mentioned previously, Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 2nd, along with new special addition DVDs of My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky. And both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be released on Blu-Ray on March 23rd.

The Princess and the Frog will be sandwiched between these releases when it hits DVD and Blu-Ray….on March 16th!

The Princess and the Frog’s March release further solidifies this coming March as one of, if not the single greatest month in the history of animated film DVD/Blu-Ray releases.
