Ever since the original film’s release in 2001, Shrek has become the poster boy for Dreamworks animated features. The series has seen a sequel hit theaters every three years, with the good-but-not-as-great-as-the-original Shrek 2 in 2004 and the disappointing and mediocre Shrek the Third in 2007. Now we have Shrek Forever After, or as it is now apparently named, The Final Chapter. It is said to be the final film of the Shrek series (not counting the upcoming Puss in Boots spinoff), but where does it fall in the Shrek pantheon?
