Here we are, down to the top five movies on my list of best animated films of the first decade of the 2000s. Yes, it took me a very long time to get to it (a year longer than it should have), but the fact stands that I have done it now, and here is where it all boils down. What are my top five choices? What claimed the prestigious number 1 spot? Why did it take me so long to write this? What happened in the ending of The Birds? Some of these questions will be answered in the pages that follow.
