In my review for Okamiden, I claimed that game was the swan song of the Nintendo DS handheld. Evidently, I was wrong. As Kirby has stepped up to give the best-selling handheld one final bow before Nintendo puts all handheld emphasis on the 3DS. Somewhat poetic, really, seeing as Kirby Canvas Curse, while not a DS launch title, was the first game to highlight what the DS was capable of. "It's LittleBig fun!"
LittleBigPlanet 2, as its name so bluntly suggests, is the sequel to 2008’s LittleBigPlanet, and looks to broaden the scope of its world-building, platforming predecessor. I am actually in the minority of people who wasn’t particularly wowed by the first LittleBigPlanet, feeling the level editor was utterly brilliant but that the gameplay (and the campaign that designer Media Molecule built) were underwhelming. But has this sequel made up for what the first LittleBigPlanet failed to deliver? Read more
