So a trailer has been released for an upcoming video game known as Dead Island. The trailer in question is considered controversial, and the gaming press (and public) seem to be handing out lavish praise to it.
But I feel my thoughts on the trailer can be summed up in one simple word: Pathetic. Read more
The Oscars are a joke. That much has been clear for as long as I can remember. Animated films are treated as kiddy sideshows, timeless classics go ignored, pretentiousness is rewarded, and a bunch of movies no one remembers in two years steal all the awards from impossibly more deserving movies.

The other day, I watched one of the first movies I ever reviewed on this website, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Now I, unlike a lot of people, actually enjoyed this movie. I’ll admit there are some aspects that are a little…not up to the series’ standards, but I have always defended the movie against those who act like it’s some kind of cinematic abomination.
