I knew I should have brought the Bat-umbrella!
Batman: Arkham Asylum is a 2009 video game by Rocksteady Studios. The game takes place in the very familiar Gotham City locale of Arkham Asylum, where the Joker has let loose the inmates to run amock and wreak havok. As you would expect, it’s up to Batman to stop the Joker’s deranged plot. But is Arkham Asylum the Batman game we have always wanted? Read more
*Yeah this game was released a while ago, but better late than never right?*

Left 4 Dead 2 is a 2009 by Valve and a sequel to their 2008 modern classic, Left 4 Dead. Like the original, Left 4 Dead 2 is a cooperative first-person-shooter in which players take control of a group of survivors in a zombie apocalypse. But how does the zombie apocalypse stack up the second time around? Read more

It's a thriller night!
Plants vs. Zombies is a 2009 game created by PopCap games. A seemingly simple tower defense game, Plants vs. Zombies quickly gained a rather strong following for its unique take on the genre as well as its delightful sense of humor. Read more

It seems that those video game “fans” just never want to stop whining and complaining. Back at E3 Valve announced its newest game, the sequel to Left 4 Dead, one of the most original first-person shooters I’ve ever played as well as one of the best multi-player games in years. But rather then being happy about the announcement, these so called “fans” once again see things in a negative light and choose to once again run their seemingly never closed mouths about how wrong Valve is and how right they are about Left 4 Dead 2. I have decided to give my opinion on the matter for which I am referring. Read more
Time now for part 2 of my adventures at E3. I suppose I really don’t need much more of an introduction than that this time around.. Read more
This past week I had the honor of attending my first ever E3! I know what you’re thinking, “Is Slogan Yams that important?” My guess is that I must be humoring someone important, which then permitted me to attend the event.
I intended to have this post up earlier but complications prevented that from happening. Besides, I highly doubt I would be the first person one would go to to find out about E3. But I decided to post about my experience and share what games I am most looking forward to on the horizon! Read more
Hey Hey! What do we have here? Another one of thems “top 100 games lists” eh? This one comes from VGCharts, which is a website. It involves video games. I have decided to post it here, and once again write my own commentary that I find kind of delightful (but not in an arrogant way). Here is the top 100!

I must say, despite the fact that I have never read a full issue of EDGE Magazine, I have more respect for them than nearly every other video game publication out there just from what I’ve read online. They just have a more respectable nature about them. Once again I have to point out the whole “It doesn’t matter what the magazines and websites say all that matters are what games are your favorites” nature that I have, but once again I just think these lists can be pretty fun. And EDGE Magazine seems quite fond of making these lists, as they did it previously in 2004 and 2007. But their list is a bit different this time around and they have even dubbed it “the 100 best games to play today” which is more or less a way of saying it’s a best game ever list without outright saying it. Without further waisting your time, here’s the list (with some commentary). Read more
2008 saw a lot of highs and lows in the realms of movies and video games. Records were broken, hype was built and classics were born. But besides The Dark Knight there were a lot of other cool things too. Robots fell in love, brothers were Super Smashed and Metal Gear’s convoluted plot lines were unraveled (and still left some confused). And then there’s The Love Guru! Read more
