It’s an argument that has been going on for year now, are video games an art form? Well this argument has sparked again with film critic Roger Ebert claiming that video games “will never be an art form.”

The Wii remote was destined to be used as a katana!
During the Wii’s launch, one of the most hyped games for the console was Red Steel, a first-person shooter/slasher game that was promised to be a great display of the Wii’s capabilities with a “hardcore” title. Red Steel came along, and most were disappointed with it, people found it a bit too clunky. It wasn’t until Metroid Prime 3 was released that people were reassured of the possibilities of a first-person adventure on the Wii. But Ubisoft took notes and decided to make a sequel to Red Steel that promised to be more polished. But does the first game made exclusively for Wii MotionPlus live up to its promise? Or does it suffer the fate of its predecessor? Read more

Megaman 10 marks another entry in legendary video game series Megaman. The series, which laid dormant for eleven years, was revived in 2008 with the release of Megaman 9, which also revived the 8-bit NES graphic style and has clearly had an influence on other games (like the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4). But how well does Megaman 10 stack up to its predecessor? Read more

Even if you haven't heard of half of these guys, they are all-stars nonetheless.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom serves as a revival to Capcom’s famed “versus” fighting games. Only this time, instead of the heroes (and villains) of the many games of Capcom doing battle against the likes of Marvel comics super heroes, they take on characters from the famous Japanese anime/manga company, Tatsunoko.
So do the two powerhouses compliment each other? Or is the combination more obscure than fun? Read more
