How to Train Your Dragon Review

Dragon Heart.

How to Train Your Dragon is the latest Dreamworks animated film. When it comes to animation, Dreamworks has been a bit of a mixed bag, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda were great, and Shrek 2 was good, for every one of the good ones they had some extremely mediocre ones like Shark Tale.

Does How To Train Your Dragon rank up with the better half of Dreamworks’ animated output? Or does it join the more forgettable lot? Read more

Ponyo: The Best Animated Feature That Wasn’t

Despite all of the crumby Summer blockbusters, 2009 was a good year for movies, but even more so, it was a great year for animated movies. And yet, with five nominees for Best Animated Feature in one of the best years of animated features, there is one film that is tragically and shamefully absent from the Oscar race: Ponyo. Read more
